The sitting room walls are painted in Dulux’s Lime Zest 2. Jonathan made the dresser, painting it to complement the limegreen backdrop. This latticework pillar framing the window is original to the house. Treasured items are displayed on the mantelpiece, from quirky ceramics to antique candlesticks.
The fitted bookcase in the dining area of the kitchen was made by Jonathan and painted in Farrow & Ball’s Folly Green.
The hallway shows Jonathan and Claire’s love of colour. The walls are painted in Dulux’s Flame Frenzy 3 and the doorframe in Farrow & Ball’s Down Pipe.
The Suzani bedspread in the guest bedroom was bought in Istanbul. The painting above the bed is by Jonathan.
The brightly coloured screen was made and painted by Jonathan to hide an unattractive but useful greenhouse.
