The owner of this Paris apartment Simone Bendix is an actor and has starred in a number of films and television series. This classic apartment boasts wrought-iron balconies, panels, stucco and the most beautiful herringbone parquet flooring and was well-worn when she bought it. The architect Helene Schjerbeck was invited to renovate the space.{bobedre.dk}

The dining room. The chairs by Philippe Starck, Ron Arad and Gio Ponti, two large pendants by Tom Dixon, a colorful chandelier found at a flea market, the beautiful rug is designed by Lin Utzon.

The bright red sofa is from Zanotta and coffee table is an original Eames.

Simone set up a small workstation in this hallway which used to be a small room; a Louis Ghost by Philippe Starck chair contrasts with the classic parquet flooring.

There are fireplaces in all the rooms

The bed is built with room for books all around. An old chair has been reupholstered in turquoise fabric matching bed cover and pillows.

An old French dresser with a figurine by the sculptor Knud Nellemoses in a glass showcase, like the long-legged stork beside.

The bar cabinet with a complete collection of glass Eiffel towers. Some are old perfume bottles, others have been used as wine or liquor bottles.
