Designer and Architect India Mahdavi

The Paris-based designer India Mahdavi originally studied film-making, but later took up industrial and graphic design at Parsons The New School for Design in New York and upon graduating her first job was with French interior designer Chriastian Liagre.
Among her notable projects are The Coburg Bar in London, Monte Carlo Beach Hotel in Monaco, the Gallery at Sketch as well as numerous private residences in the UK, Australia, Spain and the US.

    I always think of these kind of Creatives as a Mind Out of This World.
    It’s easy to “grab” a style, change this and that and call it your own. Hard it is to Dream of One’s own. And this is India Mahdavi’s case.
    It must be that film-making studies – she’s always setting the scene she wants like that picture with the olives in The Coburg – you can feel the film setting and almost wait for the scene to start.
