Peter Pichler has recently completed an interesting renovation of traditional farmhouse in Puglia, southern Italy.
The 14th century building has remained mostly unchanged. The characteristic arches give depth to the rooms, the project takes off from the idea to bring this decorative element on the façade to achieve greater brightness and an external access to every room in the house.

The Apulian architecture of the 11th and 12th centuries, strongly influenced by Greek, Arab and Norman, has inspired the decor of the 36 aluminum panels that shield the windows, which filter the sunlight, creating beautiful and seductive lighting. The pattern is a new interpretation of the Arabic decoration.
The effects are constantly changing throughout the day, reaching its maximum splendor at night with light creating a magical view.
