The three-story house of the fashion designer Liza Bruce (she made her name with a line of Lycra swimwear in 1980s) boasts with terraces and gardens, a hammam steam bath and a swimming pool.
Liza and her husband, artist Nicholas Alvis Vega, have a few homes around the world – bungalows in Puglia, Italy, a palazzo apartment in Jaipur, a flat in London’s Notting Hill.

Now this jewel is located several miles south of Marrakech in the Ourika Valley, in the foothills of the snow-peaked Atlas Mountains. When the couple bought the house, it was abandoned, and Vega decided to rebuild it, inspired by the elegant geometry of Islamic patterns and Swahili design.{}

  1. This is so amazing. I love the details and the colors. Similar to what I plan to do in my own home. A little over the top for everyday living for me, but man, I would love to escape here as a vacation home!
