Spanish Mediterrainean Interior Design by Roman and Williams

The oeuvre of instant classics by Roman and Williams, the NYC-based design firm, cuts a channel between history and today, weight and light, and gravity and articulation, all the while tapping into some cultural collective memory.
The couple behind design firm Roman and Williams, Robin Standefer and Stephen Alesch, started designing film sets in 2002, but changed course after Ben Stiller, on the set of Duplex, wondered aloud why his home couldn’t look as cool as the movie. Their first interior design was overhauling Stiller’s residence (which he put on the market in 2009 for $12,500,000), and they haven’t looked back since.

The stunning property with lush and lavish landscaping, two separate houses, a detached 1 bedroom guest house and the lovely outdoor living spaces “rivals the Bel Air Hotel”. Mister Stiller had paid $1,825,000 in 1999, but then it was one house of 5-6 bedrooms. Later he bought an adjacent two-parcel property. {via curbed.com}
